5 Johnnie Walker Cocktails For A Strictly Scotch Person

1. Rob Roy
The Rob Roy is also called a Scotch Manhattan. It’s a lot like the classic Manhattan, except that it is made exclusively with a Scotch whisky.
Ingredients
60 ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
20 ml sweet vermouth
3 dashes angostura bitters
Cherries, for garnish
Method
Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass over ice and stir.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with speared cherries.

2. Johnnie Ginger
The Johnnie Ginger is a take on the classic Whisky Ginger. The Scotch, when paired with the spiciness of ginger ale really, brings out a burst of flavour that is both refreshing and enjoyable.
Ingredients
45 ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
180 ml ginger ale
A squeeze of lime juice
Lime wedge, for garnish
Method
Fill a highball glass with cubed ice.
Add Johnnie Walker Black Label Whiskey to it, top up with ginger ale and add a squeeze of lime.
Stir lightly to combine and then, garnish with a lime wedge.
3. Scotch Tom Collins
Originally a gin cocktail but turns out mixing Scotch with fresh lemon juice, sugar and soda tastes just as fine.
Ingredients
45ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
2tbsps caster sugar
90ml soda
Lemon wheel for garnish
Ice
Method
Pour all the ingredients in a Collins glass, top it off with soda and garnish with a lemon wheel.

Ingredients
60ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
20ml fresh lemon juice
10ml sugar syrup
2 slices fresh ginger
8 fresh mint leaves
1 sprig fresh mint for garnish
Method
Pout the Johnnie Walker Black Label, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a shaker.
Add fresh mint, ginger and ice cubes and give it a good shake.
Pour into a glass and garnish.

45ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
15ml amaretto liqueur
Method
In an old fashioned glass, build all the ingredients with ice.
