Cocktails and Kombucha Yay or Nay?

If you are new here, Kombuchas are basically drinks made out of tea. They are also less popularly known as Tea fungus or Tea mushroom. Essentially, they are fermented drinks that are had for their alleged advantages. It is associated with assisting with a lot of health problems and usually is considered a healthy drink. While a lot of people have tried the drink and have felt the difference, we are looking to make Kombuchas a more fun version! Did you know Kombuchas can be combined with great spirits and made into fun cocktails? That’s one good idea, isn’t it? 
If you are interested in some uniquerecipes to make while you discover the world of cocktails and Kombuchas, here are some ideas!

Lemon Kombucha cocktail 
For our first cocktail, let’s take a look at a healthy, fruity version of the Kombucha cocktail 

What you need:

Smirnoff Vodka - 30ml
Lime juice - 10ml 
Lemon juice - 10ml
Simple Syrup - 10ml
Kombucha - 30ml
Ginger - 2-3 small pieces 
Bitters - 3-4 dashes
Lemon Peel
Ice

How you make it:
1.    Crush the ginger pieces 
2.    Add all the crush ginger with Smirnoff Vodka, Lime juice, Ice, syrup, bitters and Lemon juice into a shaker and shake well until combined with ice
3.    Pour it into a glass and garnish with a twist of Lemon peel

Pomegranate Kombucha cocktail 

Pomegranate lovers gather! We have the perfect Kombucha cocktail for you.

What you need:
Johnnie Walker Red Label - 60ml 
Kombucha - 30ml
Pomegranate seeds 
Ice

How you make it:
1.    Add the whiskey with the Kombucha and stir until combined 
2.    Add the pomegranate seeds and ice into a glass 
3.    Pour the Whiskey and Kombucha mix into the glass and serve

Minty Kombucha cocktail 
Looking for a refreshing Kombucha cocktail option, here’s a perfect recipe for you to make and kick back to relax

What you need:
Johnnie Walker Red Label - 30ml 
Kombucha - 30ml
Mint leaves 
Lemon juice - 10ml
Ice

How you make it: 
1.    Add thinly sliced mint leave and lemon juice in to a glass with ice
2.    Add Johnnie Walker Red Label Whiskey and the Kombucha into the glass and stir gently 
3.    Cut a slice of lemon and garnish to serve
